gnat and g77 on cygnus

Hi,
I would like to know why we must install gnat and the cygwin32
distribution for win95-nt in two separate directories. Will it soon be
possible to merge the two trees together ?
Another question is whether it is planed to get g77 working in the
cygwin32 ?
