Passing $home to other prog's

[Mr. Karmic]

i'm trying to run the win95 port of ncftp under bash, but it tells me it cant 
find the $HOME env.

i know $HOME is set, and the ncftp dir is in my paths, but it still wont run 
under bash.

is there a way to force bash to pass on the $HOME env ?
