ncurses-4.2 and Vim

When I tried building/installing ncurses-4.2 and 
Vim-5.1, I found that Vim hangs after a few commands.  
The same version of Vim works fine with ncurses-4.1.
Has anyone else tried ncurses-4.2 and Vim-5.* under 
CygWin32?
