I thought I would share this nice function you can put into your
.bashrc file.
Note, this will only benefit those using the win32 native version of
vim.exe.

function vi {
  VIMFILES=;
  for FILE;
  do VIMFILES="$VIMFILES `cygpath -w $FILE`";
  done;
  vim $VIMFILES;
}


CAUTION:
Do not name the function vim and do not alias vim=vi.  If you do
either you'll create a circular reference which doesn't resolve.
