bash deletes all the files in current directory and exits

I experienced, several times now, a rather boring problem with bash w/
b20+
last coolview.

Bash exits after having deleted all the files in the current directory.
Is it a bug of the current release that will be fixed with 20.1 ?

It happened oon win98 and on winNT 4sp4 also.
