DDD Debugger part II

following on to this in a earlier post of mine..
>make check successfully launches DDD and starts to debug the

it creates the .ddd dir successfully if $HOME is set correctly.
I had it set to '/'. now its set to '~ccurtin' and ddd is able to save
session details.
