B20.1: sh.exe crashes while building latest Kaffe snapshot

Hi,

With the attached test case, if I run

        sh NG-script.sh

the shell crashes, while if I run

        sh OK-script.sh

it doesn't.

The NG-script is an excerpt from Kaffe( http://www.kaffe.org )'s latest configure script.
This problem prevents me from compiling Kaffe on cygwin environment. I needed to
modify the configure script as OK-script.sh shows.

I'm running cygwin B20.1 on Windows NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 3).
