Unable to Type Lower Case e in the Bash Window

The problem was my .inputrc file.  It had \r\n for end of lines.

The problem was fixed when I removed all the \r from .inputrc

In my original B20.1 setup, I had mounted / in text mode.  The V1.0 installer
mounted / in binary mode.

While figuring out the problem, I commented out every line in .inputrc and the
problem persisted.

Weird, but true.
