Trouble with stdin?

Has anyone else noticed some programs
(eg Microsoft FTP, nslookup) seem to get
an EOF as soon as they start, and quit?
The problem doesn't seem to affect cygwin
binaries (eg cat). The problem persists if
I remove my .bashrc and start a new shell.

$ nslookup

Address:  192.168.146.1

> $

for example.

This is using the 0819 snapshot of cygwin1.dll,
running on Windows 2000, RC1. The binaries are all
from the b20.1 distribution. CYGWIN32 is unset (it happens
also with tty set).
