Put a '#!/bin/sh' at the top of the file.
When you use redirection, you're invoking ash. It looks like ash will
not attempt to execute a script unless it has execute permissions.
Cygwin will cause a file which has a '#!/bin/sh' to look like it has
execute permissions.
An alternate solution is to use CYGWIN=ntsec, assuming you're on
an ntfs partition. Then you can do "chmod a+x dog.fff".
