1.3.2: bash hanging out forever when exiting with ctrl-D (also ssh!)

Dear All,

I've experiencing hangs out with both bash and ssh, when finishing the
session by hitting ctrl-D, instead of typing "exit".

When this happens, I try hitting ctrl-C, but the window (bash or ssh) will
not respond. Only way to solve this problem, is clicking the X, so the
program will finish in the worst possible way.

In ssh this happens after ssh disconnects, and clears the window. With bash,
it gives the message "logout", and then hangs out.

I'm using:
llagos@LLAGOS ~
$ uname -a
CYGWIN_98-4.10 LLAGOS 1.3.2(0.39/3/2) 2001-05-20 23:28 i586 unknown

llagos@LLAGOS ~
$ bash --version
GNU bash, version 2.05.0(6)-release (i686-pc-cygwin)
Copyright 2000 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

llagos@LLAGOS ~
$ ssh -v
OpenSSH_2.9p2, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090600f

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Leo
