Problem w/ cygwin tar.exe: Unable to tar directories beginningw/ the letter 'R' in NT 4.0

Hi all,

Basically when i run

tar -cvfz file.tgz c:david\adv\roy
I get an error 
oy: No such file or directory

Any ideas?  or work arounds?  (besides changing the directory name)
