Using Cygwin with VC++ or Borland

Hello.
On your website, there is plenty of information on how to compile
unix-sourcecode using the cygwin port of gcc and gygwins API. Is it
possible to use VC++ or other primarily windows-oriented compilers
together with the cygwin API to compile unix-source-code?
