make 3.79.1-3 compilation for windows patch

Hi,

I've a patch that fixes make to build a correctly working version for windows. Where can i
send the (small) patch to?

Fixes:
- Build problem with undefined variable default_shell 
- Empty path environment when executing a process
- Searches the path correctly for the executable to run
