on file save as

i want to save some selective portion using the saveas button on file menu
in a vc++ single document application.

right now i have written as follows....

void CMdEditDoc::OnFileSaveAs() 
{
	
	CDocument::OnFileSaveAs();
	
	ofstream fout(m_szTempFilePath);
	m_pMod->ModelGen(fout);
	fout.close();
}

I am not getting what i ahve written in ModelGen function of a class to
which m_pMod is a pointer.

Can anybody help me?
