cygpath returns a /r not /n

oops cancel that.

I've  just used debug to look at what ^@ actually is... \n, now i'm
confused why gvim didn't like one \n but was quite happy to accept two \n
as a newline... strange, but not a cygwin issue.

sorry about that should have remembered debug earlier.
