m4 dies with SIGSEGV whilst running autoconf on gnokii

m4 dies with a SIGSEGV, and stackdumps, whilst running sutoconf on the
current CVS version of gnokii ( http://gnokki.org ).
I'm going to try and assemble a minimum test case, but if anyone has any
hints, they would be appreeciated.
