I followed the instructions given recently in this forum on how to install
fetchmail as a service (fetchmail is running fine in the background):

'my_user'
--shutdown

When I do this, fetchmail appears fine in the service list (I'm on NT) but if
I want to start the service I get the following message:
Could not start the fetchmail service on \\machine_name.
Error 2140: An internal Windows NT error occurred.
I have assigned my account all the user rights to run inetd, for instance.
Attached is the output of cygcheck...
Thanks for any clue,
