missing install.sh in diff-src.tar.gz

hi there,

just downloaded diff-src.tar.gz (ver
2.7-cygwin-990830). when try to build, configure
reported install.sh is missing. Copying the install.sh
from source package for less got me pass the build
phase. fyi, i didn't try to install after built, not
sure if it works.
