-mwindow option does not allow to print on standard console

Hi users
 I have build one small program with FLTK toolkit, I compiled that program
with -mwindow option , when the program run it has to print some standard
message on the standard console. Now any one from the group let me know that
, with -mwindow option for compilation How I can print the standard message
on output.
