I would be very very surprised to find that file would lie so specifically.

Um.

% ls -l patch*
-rw-r--r--    1 cgf      group      118074 Apr 26  2002 patch-2.5-3-src.tar.bz2
-rw-r--r--    1 cgf      group       37824 Feb 20  2002 patch-2.5-3.tar.bz2

% gzip -t patch*.bz2

gzip: patch-2.5-3-src.tar.bz2: not in gzip format

gzip: patch-2.5-3.tar.bz2: not in gzip format

% bzip2 -t patch*.bz2
%

These are the old versions of those two files.

And, then there's the fact that the patch file that you just uploaded is
exactly the same size as the previous one...
