C++ link error: undefined reference to `___gxx_personality_v0`

I just updated cygwin and it updated to gcc 3.2.1.  I now have alinker error.


The default linker is gcc as in:

gcc   ondreprt.o   -o ondreprt
ondreprt.o(.eh_frame+0x11):ondreprt.cpp: undefined reference to `___gxx_personality_v0'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [ondreprt] Error 1

When compiling C++ you need the default linker to be g++ as in:

$ make
g++   ondreprt.o   -o ondreprt

$


Can the default linker in the make files be changed to g++ by default?
