Can't help you with Windows 98: "Cron is neither patched for nor
tested on 9x/ME." But on NT X it's just as simple as "cygrunsrv -I
cron -p /usr/sbin/cron -a -D".
On WinNT X cron writes to the system log and /var/log/cron.log. Check
it out.
