$ cygcheck -c cygwin bash
Cygwin Package Information
Package              Version
bash                 2.05b-9
cygwin               1.3.22-1

Doesn't seem to affect Win98SE (console)
How do I paste more than the first line into rxvt?

-- .inputrc --
#insert-key
"\M-[2~": paste-from-clipboard
--

 I've seen other strange things in Bash though... that _might_ be related:

 As I have an"Windows"-printer the CPU-load is quite high while printing...

while printing: If I try to edit a command line in the console - then Bash
looses track of 'cursor position' within the line, skips printing one char
or some such.
 i.e: When I move the cursor left/right the contents of the line gets
overwritten by itself *with an offset* (like one or more characters are
lost/skipped or some such).
