Thanks for help, it should have been obvious that it's a problem with
the latex settings. By the way, with the cygwin installation the default
value for pool_size is 125000, in a standard teTeX installation compiled
from the source code it is 1250000. Maybe it is a good idea to increase
this value in the cygwin package?
