Problem: Kernel Image too big..

Hi People,

I was able to build a image.bin on CYGWIN using 20030314 updates on
uClinux.org

But the image is of 4.7 MB ( I use default sttings in make config)

That is uCdimm / linux 2.4.x /uClibc/Y,N,N,N


ON linux machine with same sttings , the image is only 1.5 MB..
What could be the reason
