openSSH-3.8p1-1 - cannot find cygminires.dll

Just tried a
ssh root@nextcomputer
(which worked fine under openssh-3.7.1p2-2 and does again after stepping 
back)
within openSSH-3.8p1-1.
It stops with a popup window telling, that cygminires.dll could not be 
found within the path.

A
find / -name "cygminires*"
confirmed that such file is not part of the tree.

uname -a
Linux rk6b 2.4.21-192-default #1 Wed Feb 18 19:26:28 UTC 2004 i686 i686 
i386 GNU/Linux

running
Windows 2000 Professional Ver 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4

detailes can be found within enclosed cygcheck -s -v -r log.
