Problem with cvs + cygwin + windows millennium

Hello:

I'm trying to set up a cvs server under cygwin on a Windows Millennium box.
Everything works fine except that I cannot commit changes to the repository.
I can do ckeckouts, import new modules, add files & directories... but
committing changes fails. This is the error message I get:

cvs [server aborted]: cannot change mode of file xxxxx: Permission denied

Software versions are: cvs 1.11.6-3 & cygwin 1.5.10-3

I've tried the same setup in a Windows 2K box and had no problems at all. Is
my problem related to cygwin's different behaviour depending on the Windows
version it's running on? If so, is there any solution or am I trying
something impossible?

Thanks very much,

Fco. Javier Girón
