Cheers for the response.. Unfortunately, it didn't help, still had the .SH's
afterwards :-/

I also managed to catch an error that comes up each time with the original
manpage..

grotty:<standard input>:6: character above first line discarded

I did additionally try putting a space before the \.YODLTAGEND\. pattern, as
suggested, but it did not change anything.. Perhaps they need spaces after
the patter in the sed script? (I have no idea.. I know nowt about sed :-( )
