I've run into a problem with your change:
An rsync session that consistantly works on the Oct 7 snapshot fails
consistantly on the Oct 10 snapshot.
I've tried 10/07 and 10/11 on both WinXP (as the client) and Win2000 (as
the client). The server in both cases was a WinXP machine running
1.5.11. The command I'm running in both cases is:
rsync -tvr --stats --progress --delete user@server.tld:/c/mp3/ /c/mp3/
It logs in using ssh fine, then it gets the remote file-list fine (2189
files), but at the end of local file list, it just hangs (presumably
when it's trying to figure out what to transfer). It will hang even
when there are no files to actually transfer (all the time-stamps are
the same). I've tried it about 5 times on each snapshot on each
machine, with very reproducable results.
