readshortcut crashes with updated cygwin-1.5.18-1 (cygutils maintainer -- RFA patch enclosed)

Please do.  Fix seems obvious after the fact -- but then, they all do. 
I'll release a new version soon -- along with zlib, ncurses, libtiff.
