It should be pointed out that rxvt can be used in place of CMD.EXE,
which is what is started by the Cygwin icon created by setup.
If you want to do that, here is my cygwin.bat:
rxvt -sl 10000 -sr +sk -si -sw -fg Green -bg Black -e /bin/bash --login -i
