help cron cygwin

Probably the global PATH is the problem.

You can define your crontab as this:

# use /bin/bash to run commands, no matter what /etc/passwd says
SHELL=/bin/bash
# make sure to use this PATH
PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/cygdrive/c/WINNT/system32:/cygdrive/c/WINNT:/cygdrive/c/VXIPNP/WinNT/Bin:/cygdrive/c/cvi/icaro/dati
40 * * * * trasf_DOS.exe;echo "tab eseguito alle
$(date)">/home/Administrator/cronlog

It's all explained in "man 5 crontab".
