I also changed the input buffer size to be 32768, as opposed to 8192, and
additionally enabled mmap() (since bash source had a stone age define in there
indicating cygwin did not support mmap()).

New 'make -j8':

real    0m16.806s
user    0m6.458s
sys     0m13.328s
