executing C program in cygwin

  So, the file must have got damaged or broken somehow.  However, it's pretty
impossible for anyone to figure out exactly what went wrong now since you've
destroyed the only evidence by recompiling it.

  You might just be able to reconstruct the chain of events by looking through
your ~/.bash_history, and your commandline scrollback buffer.
