GCC doesn't create an executable

I have installed CygWin on Windows XP Home. I have installed all the 
development packages. 

The Problem:
When I use gcc to compile a .c file no executable or any file at all is 
created. It doesn't output any errors. 

The output from gcc -v hello.c -o hello.exe:
