The gzip package has been updated to version 1.3.12-2.

This is a patched version of the latest version of gzip available from
ftp.gnu.org.  It should fix the issue mentioned here:

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the http://cygwin.com/ web page.  This downloads setup.exe to your
system.  Then, run setup and keep clicking "Next".
