[OT] load average, uptime, etc on windows?

I am seeking some code that I will compile with gcc inside
cygwin and use the executable in a non-cygwin environment
to report the uptime, load average, mounted disks, size and
space used in the mounted disks, etc.

Does anyone have code for this? I'm a unix person, not a
windows person.
