SSH/BASH - No prompt after remote login

I recently performed a cygwin update, and am now having a strange issue when logging in remotely via ssh.
>From the remote computer, I ssh to the cygwin/windows computer, am prompted for my password, and successfully login.
At that point, the shell appears to be extremely limited - no prompt, no formatting of ls, no feedback from commands given.
The debugging output from the remote computer is in-line below.
I'd expect a prompt after that last line, but there is none.
The bash shell appears fine when opening cygwin on the windows computer.
sftp from the remote computer to the cygwin computer works as expected.
