Threading issue in cygwin python 2.5.1-2 ?

Not sure this is going to help ...

$ /usr/bin/python

Running the example on the above Python system I just see the command 
prompt return with no program output whatsoever:

sholden@bigboy ~/Projects/Python
$ /usr/bin/python test03.py

sholden@bigboy ~/Projects/Python
$

Under a standard Windows 2.5.1 it created a window then appeared to 
print random times until I clicked the "Done" button:
