Cygwin 1.7 on a FLASH Drive

That sounds more like what I want. I really do know how
to do all of this under Linux.

The main reason I'm asking the question here is that some
of you will have insight into performance, reliability, and
security issues between Cygwin/Windows that I do not have
yet.
