I'm experiencing a problem running python on Windows Server 2008
Standard. python --version works but running python (to get the python
interpreter) hangs.
It hangs at this point when python:
Administrator@vdc2-ep-122 /cygdrive/c
$ python
Python 2.5.2 (r252:60911, Dec 2 2008, 09:26:14)
[GCC 3.4.4 (cygming special, gdc 0.12, using dmd 0.125)] on cygwin
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
I should get a prompt >>> but it just hangs there.
I've attached cygcheck.out
This problem looks earily similar to
http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2007-12/msg00441.html
I've run a hello world python script and it does not hang however.
