On a Vista Business SP2 machine, I just updated and received the following
when starting bash. Rolling back eliminated the symptoms.
C:\Windows\system32>bash -li
2 [main] bash 5904 _cygtls::handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
7609 [main] bash 5904 open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to bash.exe.stackdump
2 [main] bash 5904 _cygtls::handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
7609 [main] bash 5904 open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to bash.exe.stackdump
463315 [main] bash 5904 _cygtls::handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
489462 [main] bash 5904 _cygtls::handle_exceptions: Error while dumping state (probably corrupted stack)
A cygcheck of the working system with bash rolled back is attached.
Thanks,
...Karl
