Dear Cygwin community,

thanks for your answer to my "key authentication problem"! Nevertheless, I
wonder, if it works under Windows 2003 with the SYSTEM account...

Now, I got a problem, which solved the developers about one and a half
year ago on an early cygwin 1.7.0 version:

If I run an command directly with the ssh client, e.g.

ssh <username>@<server> -i <path-to-private-key> "ls -al .."

only a part of the output comes to my console (most of the time only four
and a half lines). Then I'm back at the prompt of my client.

My client's OS ist Windows XP with

CYGWIN_NT-5.1 t8attpsm 1.7.1(0.218/5/3) 2009-12-07 11:48 i686 unknown
unknown Cygwin
OpenSSH_5.3p1, OpenSSL 0.9.8l 5 Nov 2009

What could be the reason for this "broken" output this time?

Thanks in advance and

best regards

Carsten Porzler
