/cygdrive permissions problem [failing duplicity backup]

FYI, installed 1.7.2 - no changes in behaviour spotted so far, at all.

I have my own permutation here:

Wed Mar 24 14:31:45 jan@aeolus:~
$ ls -ld /cygdrive/
d--x--x--x 5 jan Users 0 2006-12-01 00:00 /cygdrive/

Wed Mar 24 14:31:54 jan@aeolus:~/.backup

Trying to get my head around gdb now.
