binutils: status update?

Dave,

Could you provide an update on some of the outstanding binutils issues?

1) dlltool DATA exports incompatible with auto-import

This is preventing me from updating GNOME Evolution.

2) weak symbol linkage

This affects libXfont and xorg-server:
