Hi,
I have installed Cygwin 1.7.2 on Windows 7 (64-bit):
-------------------------------------------
ssanyal@I4846-vm ~
$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-6.1-WOW64 I4846-vm 1.7.2(0.225/5/3) 2010-03-24 21:12 i686 Cygwin
-------------------------------------------
When I try to copy a file from a drive which maps a CIFS share from a
NetApp filer I get the following error:
-------------------------------------------
ssanyal@I4846-vm ~
$ cp /cygdrive/h/cygwin_packages .
cp: skipping file `/cygdrive/h/cygwin_packages', as it was replaced
while being copied
-------------------------------------------
"ls -li /cygdrive/h/cygwin_packages" returns a different inode number
each time I run the ls command.
According to the 1.7.2 doc -
http://www.cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/ov-new1.7.html
this issue has been fixed but I am still facing the problem.
Any idea what may be wrong? How can I fix this?
Attaching output of "cygcheck -s -v -r".
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Shailo Sanyal
