ssh from linux to cygwin + CUI + Ctrl-C

Control-C works from me ssh'ing from Linux -> Cygwin. Of course my 
Cygwin is running on Windows 7 (Actually a vm of Windows 7) but IIRC 
Control-C also works at work when I ssh from Linux -> Cygwin on XP.
