emacs No Longer Works After A Cygwin Upgrade

For the archives, yes, it can.

I don't have emacs on my machine (vi is the one true editor) but the 
only difference between the two invocation methods is that if you pass a 
symlink, cygcheck emits an extra line at the start indicating that it 
chased a link.  Something like this:

     -> C:\cygwin\bin\emacs-nox.exe

I tested this with /bin/infotocap vs. /bin/tic.exe.

(Why that pair?  It just grabbed my attention first after ls /bin.)
