After intsalling cygwin 1.7.8-1 package, I get no output from ps or mount commands.  There may have been problems with the output of other commands, but after trying a reboot, I downgraded back to 1.7.7-1 after finding the problem, and everything worked again.

Output with 1.7.7-1

$ mount

//hogfather/build/gbenton on /home/gbenton/build type smbfs (binary,user)

C:/cygwin-1.7/bin on /usr/bin type ntfs (binary,auto)

C:/cygwin-1.7/lib on /usr/lib type ntfs (binary,auto)

//lspace/archive on /lspace/archive type smbfs (binary,notexec,user)

//hex/Documents on /hex/Documents type smbfs (binary,notexec,user)

C:/cygwin-1.7 on / type ntfs (binary,auto)

//hex/Release on /hex/Release type smbfs (binary,notexec,user)

//hex/Scratch on /hex/Scratch type smbfs (binary,notexec,user)

C: on /cygdrive/c type ntfs (binary,posix=0,user,noumount,auto)

I've attached the cygcheck.out with 1.7.7-1 installed.

Is there something I need to change when upgrading to 1.7.8-1?
